CRISTINA MANGANIELLO

Nace en La Plata, Pcia. de Buenos Aires, Argentina, Reside y tiene su taller en Capital.

Graduada en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, como Profesora y Licenciada en Pintura, fué alumna de los maestros Hector Cartier, Bruno Venier, César López Osornio, Guillermo Martinez Solimán y Naum Goijman. Actualmente es Profesora e investigadora en la misma; y Vicepresidente del Grupo Argentino del Color (GAC). Como tal dirije varios proyectos de investigación en cuanto al color y la comunicación visual, teniendo numerosos trabajos publicados sobre el tema. Participó a su vez, en el movimiento Mail Art Internacional .

Descendiente de emigrantes italianos de las regiones de Basilicata, Toscana, Liguria y Lombardía, expone sus pinturas en numerosas muestras individuales y colectivas de carácter local, nacional e internacional.

Su obra existe en los museos de arte de: MUMART La Plata, Municipal de Concepción del Uruguay, Artemio Alisio de Concepción del Uruguay, Galería de Arte Latinoamericano de Miami, USA, Provincial de Bellas Artes PBA, Fra Angélico UCALP, Museo de La Plata UNLP, Museo de Arte de Rio GRande, Tierra del Fuego y Museos europeos y americanos de Mail Art International, además de galerías y colecciones privadas.

CRISTINA MANGANIELLO, born in La Plata city, Argentina.

Graduated in the Fine Arts Higt School of La Plata University , with the Teacher and Licensed in Painting Titles

from 1984 is Professor. of Visual Language, in this academic house. (For Plastic and Design in Visual Communication).From l996 and continues is Prof of Vision, for Industrial Design, Fine Arts H S., UNLP.

Was at l996 Teacher of “ Vision”, and Representation Systems, of the Fac. of Architecture, of the Argentine Catholic University of La Plata. Between 1990 and 1995 is performed as Inspecting of Artistic Education, (by contest).

In investigation is distinguished in two opportunities by the U.N.L.P. for investigate in Vision (Initiation Scholarship for Graduated) and Color (development Scholarship). Painting

Since 1965, Cristina has exhibited works at galleries and museums in Argentina, United States, and other countries. She utilizes a variety of media such as watercolors, oil, collage, ink, textiles, photographs, acrylics, and mixed media. Her style ranges from expressionist realism to metaphor, and suggests preference for local and everyday themes. However, through the use of strong and vibrant colors, the themes reach beyond the local to include and embrace a worldwide public.
